KG Boxing Academy & Fitness is the first and only legal boxing gym in the history of Lodi, California created to give kids a safe place to train, grow, and stay off the streets. It's more than a gym it's a family that teaches discipline, confidence, and respect through the sport of boxing.

Founded and personally funded by Giovannie "King Gio" Gonzalez, the academy offers everything a real boxing gym should have, a full-size 20 x 20 professional boxing ring, top-grade turf for sprints and conditioning, weights and strength equipment, and even video training to study technique and help fighters sharpen their skills.

We offer an amateur program that welcomes anyone willing to put in the work. It's built for people who want to learn the right way, stay dedicated, and earn their spot through effort and consistency.

Giovannie has fought all over the world headlining and co-headlining events on ESPN, DAZN, Fight Hub, GSS and major pay-per-view cards. With over 30 professional fights, multiple titles, and a #2 world ranking in combat sports in 2023, he continues to inspire through action. He also made history as the first fighter from Northern California to sign with Grant Boxing, the same company trusted by legends like Floyd Mayweather Jr., Canelo Alvarez, Julio César Chávez Jr., and Gennady "Triple G" Golovkin.

What started as Giovannie's childhood dream in Lodi is now a place changing lives every day one round at a time.
